I've posted on this in Welsh before, but I'll mention it in English this time. I use a .wales email address - .wales went live as a top level domain in 2014. Despite having been live for over 10 years I still find problems when I try to enter my email address on websites. I think this must be because they are using a validation routine or service which has not been updated to reflect the introduction of .wales as a top level domain. Can any tech experts out there shed any light on this? I give feedback everytime I come across the problem but it might help if I could let the relevant companies know more about what is likely causing the problem.

@ApAlun Retired web developer here. You are entirely correct. Since the explosion of top-level domains in 2013, many of the static libraries or hand-rolled methods for checking this stuff have become hopelessly outdated.
Try asking for your complaint to be passed specifically to the web developer or the company who built the site for them, but I've had very limited success even with that.
