kravietz 🦇A funny story from the world of scams and money laundering called cryptocurrencies - a few years ago investors in #SafeMoon, one of the many companies in the industry, were scammed. There is a rather inefficient investigation going on in the US but most of the suspects and the company’s assets have disappeared.
Today it emerged that one of the company’s major shareholders Kyle Nagy has been living for some time…. in #Russia (what a surprise!). In accordance with the principle of ‘grab the plundered’, the Russians started to ‘shear’ the American who came to them with $200 million themselves.
A total of $4.5 million has been extracted from him so far on numerous ‘peace of mind’ fees. The funniest thing, however, is that Nagy went with it …. to the police - and that’s how we know the details of the case, because the case seemed so bizarre to the police officers that they immediately sold it to the WCzK-OGPU channel:

Потерпевший- основатель американской криптовалютной и блокчейн-компании SafeMoon LLC Nagy Kyle, который похитил свыше 200 млн долл средств клиентов и сбежал в Россию. Он разыскивается ФБР. Обвиняемыми являются Заур Алибеков и Евгений Царев, которые, по версии следствия, с апреля 2024 получили путем шантажа и угроз от гражданина США Nagy Kyle около 4.5 миллиона долларов США. Плата за его спокойное пребывание в РФ. Еще одна изюминка дела: задержанные, по данным ВЧК-ОГПУ, агенты ФСБ РФ.
