This would be a huge win for our dear Beavs from Bemidji. They're a good team with the unfortunate distinction of being in a place that's hard to recruit to and hard to retain talent at in the objectively hardest conference by FAR.

since the NCAA started sponsoring a women's hockey national championship, only five teams have won: Minnesota (7), Minnesota-Duluth (5), Ohio State (2), Clarkson (2), and wisconsin (7).
all of those teams are in the WCHA except Clarkson.
