IMHO:

People keep saying that Republicans don't know how to govern.

They don't WANT to. Their goal is to destroy democracy, our govt as we know (knew) it, create distrust.

Of course, now, they have infighting, but they also managed to "win" an election, so they're not totally inept.

The chaos is intentional. Well, a lot of it.
