[1/3] Watching the first hour of the new docuseries #Cosmosis brings up basic (#meta) questions, not being answered.

Much of the story is about manufacturing doubt in #UFO / #UAP #research programs of the #USGov and other institutions, which it does rather convincingly. But the emphasis gradually veers more heavily into #psi, #ESP, remote viewing and other non-UFO mysteries, which historically & secretly were also studied by those govs. The message suggests that the answers are already in us.

[2/3] It's not showing how remote viewing can explain #UFOs. It's not showing remote viewing at all, so far.

Post #Newton, #science & #philosophical thought require #math & other #technologies that extend our #human senses & capabilities — #radioastronomy for example. These methods reach beyond our #biases, #intuitions & other limitations.

The show asks us to be #skeptical of official agendas, but then clouds its own #agenda. It knows a few things, but does it reveal hard #truths about #UFOs?

[3/3] Simply put, episode 1 of the new docuseries #Cosmosis exposes secrecy, #disinformation and worse carried out by #US #intelligence regarding #UFO / #UAP sightings. Good work, so where do we go from here?

They seem to be suggesting that #paranormal studies can answer #UFO questions. (OK, how? What has this #research actually taught us?)

Another approach would be to improve our studies of UAP / UFOs. Build on what's already been developed, increasing #transparency & #community involvement.
