Russia initiated this pattern in 2013, it has been incrementing every day, not just election days, not just voting days, not just new years. #SurkovSimulacra

A gentle reminder that new year resolutions don’t have to be about positive changes. You can commit to be more petty, seek revenge, and disrespect your enemies.

I am trapped in a mind that still remembers 2014 when society changed and it has been self-destructive since. Even October 7, 2023 groups changed, and few say "I wish people would renounce terrorism" as it just doesn't make anything better. I keep looking for people to promote Malala and Martin Luther King Jr on these topics.

"The false report from Fox, which was attributed to anonymous sources, confused the public – and evidently Trump too. The misinformation is still circulating a day later – serving as a cautionary tale about the news ecosystem as the new year begins."

Trump falsely links New Orleans terror attack to migrants after erroneous Fox News report

ο»ΏAn erroneous early Fox News report about the New Orleans terror attack is warping the political dialogue in the aftermath of the deadly rampage.

I think humanity has reached the point of MLK Jr's and Carl Sagan's Pale Blue Dot warnings.

Does it matter who they are, what their motivations are any more than to identify them and try to convince people we are all in the same boat.

Our own children are against society now in 2024, our own trained computers are against us too.

I know I sound like a broken record, and it isn't about blame, it's about understanding the dept of the problem: Middle East religions.

Islam is the NEWEST of the 3 major Levant religions. And not only do you have hate of the other religions, you have internal divisions like Shia vs. Sunni. That is what Russia cooked up and exported in 2013, a weaponized version of that.

Is it really that enjoyable Russia hating on Ukraine? Is Iran really having fun hating on Israel?

We can make films, TV shows, YouTube channels about topics. We don't need to go to civil war over morality issues like women's rights and slavery. Goodness itself has to be asserted.

#RepeatingRepeater #LuigiMangione Luigi had a Reddit and Twitter account. It says a LOT about society that a 2010 book on health insurance he choose not to make a topic - he instead did gun violence to get attention. Why can't we have Health Care Reform a topic every Tuesday and Thursday on USA social media?

We jump to the violence before we really come together and discuss the reality and solutions. And emphasis on reality. Is the PROFIT of health insurance the problem we are against, the high wages of executives and shareholders? Can we support non-profit. Or is it universal coverage of all people, even unemployable people that we want. And can we come together for such goodness and change.

Jumping right to cheering murder is so anti-intellectual and anti-peace. It's like the same thing we criticize with the police, using violence instead of working with the society.

I also think we need too much kindness. The Russian psychological manipulation is very real and there needs to be recognition that society is being angry and hateful nearly constantly. The rat race has us at each other's throats. And working on positive solutions and techniques for all concerns is progress.

If capitalism is obsolete because of technology, that's something very few of us are educated for. If USA is a world-leader on a big shift in society, being able to peacefully and intelligently use social media to come up with ideas and study results / work together is a big change. Same with climate change.

Politicians need to stop spending so much money on running for elections and the issues need to be weekly topics of everyday people on progress. If we can't agree...

... if we can't agree economic inequality has reached a crisis point in society than what hope is there for any progress?

We have to self-educate our way into authentic progress and learning form experiments and feedback on what actually works. We have to start valuing authentic factual news and information and not just tricking each other into agreement with sales tactics. Intelligent machines are going to be tricking us all now.
