Hamish The PolarBearHow did these compare in price to other systems of the time? They seem much more akin to the professional systems of the time that ran CP/M than stuff like ZXS/C64.
I have a lot of respect for the French micro scene despite not knowing about these at the time because they, along with the Germans, were the ones that really explored what the ST/TT computers could do. If Atari UK,France and Germany had bought out the computer division somehow we would have had a longer life in that series. Then again we might also have the fragmented mess that other companies are in, making life harder for retro peeps!
Excellent look at these stunning machines as you always deliver! Maybe I need to add Thomson to my potential collection list (once I work out where to put everything else as well!)
