JitschTime to complete a paint job on #PreCure figures again. I want to finish Hirogaru Sky before the new ones (Wonderful) arrive.

First Cure Sky. I was glad that the pink to blue gradient in her hair was already there. What you can’t see is that I also added color on her tiny earrings .
Next Cure Prism. I gave up on adding that very subtle gradient in her hair (the tips are supposed to be more yellowish / orange) but all the colors are now on her skirt 🥰
I think I’m finished with Cure Wing as well but the light’s bad now and I want to see tomorrow if I can improve some details by pairing over some bits again.
I found a suitable paint brush and added a gradient to Prism’s hair. Might be a bit too yellow but I’m glad that the technique itself worked quite well.
And here’s our boy.
With that old but rather large paintbrush even the gradients turned out to work quite well, I should have had that idea sooner (for the green on the inside I was still struggling with my small brushes that are better suited for details.

Next is Cure Butterfly and man, this figure had some bits which were just hard or even impossible to reach with a paintbrush. Like the pink circle in the middle of her headpiece below the white butterfly, or the back of her skirt… I think the result is good, though.
Last but not least, Cure Majesty. Was difficult to mix the different hues of purple that were already used in parts of the pre-painted figure. I’d say the dark purple on the skirt is a bit too dark compared to the character sheet. And the reddish purple is less reddish than I’d have liked (the pink that was already there on her ankles was too pink in my opinion though, so I painted it all over with the same color). I’ll leave it like this, if you don’t check the character sheet on the side it looks just fine.
Finally here’s the before and after of the whole group. They looked okay before if you aren’t too familiar with the character designs, but it’s so satisfying to see them fully painted.
