Show how far your OCs have evolved via their first and latest images:

Aya has come a long way.

The left side is some of the oldest art I still have, so maybe 1998?

I don't know what was up with the finger guns or the weird brown outfit. Maybe I'd lost all my other colored pencils.

@nickthewright I mean, despite differences in clothes and overall style - Aya still looks very similar to how you imagined her originally. Which is cool, because despite the obvious evolution over years - she is still recognizable 🙂

My OC Lisa has also come a long way.
Her 2014 art is the oldest I could find (on the left).

@AcroCatabro That's a big difference! The skill level boost is always impressive to see, but it's really interesting how some OCs start as a different race like a furry or an elf and become human, or vice versa.

Comparatively, Aya just got better clothes and a more skilled artist 😂

I will say the character Aya evolved from originally was a long-haired sort of desert warrior character in a D&D-ish setting, but I don't have any surviving art from that era.

@nickthewright Well, not everyone has to go through multiple phases to find oneself. Lisa had a catgirl year somewhere in the middle of her design journey! 😄

I suppose Aya already had her share of transformations during that early D&D era you mentioned 🙂 So she has already evolved enough. And the only thing she needed were new stylish clothes and a better artist, like you said 😄
