Dylan's video. Maybe I should post these before mine instead of after.

Hollis Jollis Christmas Number Two!
Secret Cornbread from 1987!
Here's Dylan doing it.
Ingredients gathered.
Oven is hot already, roommate was using it.
Due to my Firm Opinions, "well greased" means buttered.
Now supremely weird!
I forgot to get a pic of the dough in the dish before it went into the oven.
Smells nice though.
Boulder: Yiayia, I like cheese!
Me: Oh my sweet granddog, this is not for you.
I could not make the cornbread exit the pan to be on a rack, so I guess we're eating it right out of the pan, then. Once cooled enough.
It's pretty good. I'm not rolling my eyes with joy but the sweet/salty balance is achieved and it's not dry.
Uh oh.
I finished making today's recipe but it won't BE finished for another hour, so I took a look at tomorrow's recipe.
The ingredients for that one are not ready anytime soon either. Sigh.
It's okay. I can swap it out for a different, later recipe in the same category.
RECAP:
(It's been two days, why do I feel the need to recap?!?!)
1 Chow Mein Cookies
2 Secret Cornbread
Okay I posted on #Pixtagram this time!

Please ignore the logical fallacy regarding lemons. I'm still half asleep and editing it out now would be so much hassle.
Crap! I forgot to take a photo!

Dylan's pie. It was grape.
Hollis Jollis Christmas recipe number four:
Potato Chip Cookies from 1976!
Here's Dylan's video.
How these came out. Video forthcoming.
Did you notice I'm doing 12 recipes and not 12 days?
Just making room for the chaos. No way will there be 0 chaos over the course of 12 days. I started when there were 15 days to Christmas and I give myself permission to do 2 recipes or 0 recipes any given day.
Giving up is also an option, but so far I'd rather keep having fun with it.
Hollis Jollis Christmas recipe number five.

Hooray! The final pie is in the fridge and now it's time for ME to chill.
Oh my goodness I forgot to share the videos for number 10 - Magic Oatmeal Cookies from 1985. I only shared the result pic.

Here's me:
Warning: do not bake while exhausted.
Not only did I use the wrong amount of cool whip, but for most of the process I thought the camera was on when off.
And vice versa.
Meaning a lot of shots of countertop and now much of the process of baking.
Well it's a fridge pie, but you get my drift.
Number TWELVE!!!
