A ★★★★ review of Occupied City (2023)

[English] Well-made juxtapositions of film scenes with off-screen narration are particularly effective in order to achieve the greatest possible contrast. We see Amsterdam in the present day, backed up with descriptions of the period of occupation by Nazi Germany 1940-45. The locations where the events took place are connected.
