I have a server running Ubuntu 14... that's alright surely? It said LTS on it when I installed it.

@GossiTheDog actually, it's OK... I checked, it's a Ubuntu 12.04 LTS so this is good... obviously Ubuntu 14 would be bad, but 12 is a good vintage.

@dee @GossiTheDog didn't support for that end 7 years ago? 💀

From what I can tell even LTS releases are only supported for 5 years 😅

@hazelnot @dee @GossiTheDog If you want to pay Canonical money, they'll support an LTS system for up to 12 years. Worth noting that they extended this from 10 years earlier this year to allow 14.04 to still be supported.

I can't upgrade though, I'm running a version of python from 2012, and a version of Django from 2012 👍
