Elon Musk is taking aim at Europe.

Just this week, a new photo has been posted of him with Nigel Farage from the Reform UK party (picture 1), and he is now promoting the AfD in Germany (picture 2).

Friends… get your friends off the misinformation platform X.

@randahl I'm guessing you get the irony of posting 2 photos from X and advising peeps not to use it.

@AlisonCreekside would you rather not I had accounts for monitoring what the far right is doing on Truth Social and X?

I personally find it very important for my work, to have a full picture, and I think every political researcher, journalist, and commentator should.

At the same time, I believe should all try to get everyone off these platforms, as they are biased and generate ad revenue for Trump and Musk.

@randahl No, of course not - I was teasing you. It does point to the ongoing problem though of staying/leaving the largest sm platform we have.
@randahl @AlisonCreekside It would be finished without the sports interactions. A lot of these people do not realize what it has become.
@AlisonCreekside @randahl is THAT what worries you about this post? 😂
@mykhaylo lols. Only bc this post wasn't news to me. Musk is determinedly working his way thru G7 elections.
@randahl

@randahl

Always remember, get your nation to not do business with those who break the rules.

If a company does not follow the law, do not use their products. Yes SpaceX is a good case. They break worker law, environmental protection etc. And their products are basicly unmatched currently pricewise.

But if they ignore the nations laws who they work for, why would you continue this business relation?

@mwfc @randahl currently, they are the only reliable game in town. #boeing needs to get its shit together.

@dannybama
I am european, so I see the ariane clusterfuck.

Point still holds, we are giving them even profits over noncompliance in a lot of cases. So yes, we should never ever rely on single suppliers, even tho keeping multiple players in game is expensive.

And now Musk is abusing his plattform for foreign politics, again.

Btw where is the line in US law about contractors in government positions defining policy?

@randahl

@randahl It’s a bit too late for a boycott of platforms to do any good I fear. We need active legislation to stop these oligarchs. Unfortunately they are already holding the pen that writes the laws.
@randahl he should fuck off on a one way trip to Mars
