Peter Christensen@barbarakb Been doing it for 30 years. We buy a new one every decade or so and give the (now-too-big-for-our-space) old one to someone looking for a larger house plant. As an adult, I never felt right about killing a living thing just to decorate and then toss after a few weeks.
