If Fani Willis had a conflict of interest because a man might have paid for a meal, imagine how serious it would be if Supreme Court justices heard cases related to an election their wives had tried to overturn.
Sorry. As an attorney, I fault Fani Willis, since she was the prosecutor. She had ultimate control over the case and should not have had the relationship with him. If she couldn't help but have the relationship (there's no ethical conflict having an intimate relationship with another prosecutor), they should have been quiet, if not discreet, about it and not spent extravagantly in their trysts.
