The space race to launch low-orbit satellites for internet connection is hotting up.
While Elon Musk's SpaceX hopes to expand the Starlink megaconstellation to up to 42,000 satellites, China is aiming for a similar scale and hopes to have around 38,000 satellites in three of its projects, known as Qianfan, Guo Wang and Honghu-3. Running parallel, Russia and Canada also have strategic projects in this sector.
