Over the past months we have interviewed some of the people involved in the #ARDC, a series of #VMs hosted at the servus datacenter; we have also traced the history of #AMRO, Art Meets Radical Openness, and the general radical media art context in which #servus.at was born and still operates.

All this material is now collected in a fancy magazine called "Artists Running Data Centers", which we'll get fresh off the press tomorrow and present at STWST on Tuesday, December 17th at 7pm.

Re:ARDC – Rethinking the Artist Run Data Center | servus.at

we'll also publish the texts via pdf in the next few days - link will be posted in this thread

Hey! it took a little longer than expected, i (@dvd) spent some time playing with metadata info and bookmarks with #pdftk and #calibre – & btw realized that this is another world of wonder to explore 😆

-> here you go, enjoy the bookmarked pdf!

we are also looking into of other ways of making it available - like a simple static site. Maybe this is a project around silvester :)

@servus @versorgerin @joak @320x200 @inari @dvd The interview with @dvd was so much fun, now I can't wait to read the other interviews too.

Thank you for bringing so many stories together!

@servus where can i order it?

hey @luka !
we'll publish the pdf to the contents this week

if you want a printed copy, send us an email to [email protected] with your address.

we did not decide how it works monetarily yet, we want first to have a copy in our hands. but in general we'll ask for something like a "pay what you can" up to 15/20€ to help cover printing & editing costs (bc... we went a little bit over budget & it was worth it XD)
