Remember this is the regime that both Republicans *and* Democrats in the US are determined to support. Even after the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for its leader.
The Dems looked at the student occupations against the IDF's war crimes, around the country, and the massive public support for them. Then thought they could win *any* election while campaigning on continuing to arm these monsters.
The more I think about it, the more staggering is the hubris of this.
