Apparently his first quake was #LomaPrieta in 1989 (magnitude: 6.9)—quite the way to crack one's seismic cherry. His second earthquake was one I was present for as well: #Northridge, 1994 (6.7)
Was he just listing BIG quakes? Not sure, but his third was #Japan, 2011 (9.0) 🤯 WTF
