@antonyh absolutely. Social pressure on drinking is enormous. In my home country drinking and driving is extremely common and socially accepted. I’m honestly very tired of it. It gets quite worse around the holidays and not drinking will earn you some weird comments. Especially if you’re AFAB you’ll get hit with the casual “why not are you pregnant?!”.
