@aaron.rupar they managed to tie a case up in court for months over a supposed “conflict of interest” between two members of of the same prosecutorial team, i.e. people who were ALREADY on the same side, so it seems critical thinking isn’t really much of a factor in modern political OR legal discourse

Agreed, but you are assuming the truth matters. @foxnews ignores the truth and pushes lies - and that is all MAGA sees. Elected republicans at the federal level understand now the truth is a quaint relic of the past. They have a media machine on their side to create any reality they desire.
