MayhamMondayAug 1 is the start to 🎶 the most wonderful time of my year! 🎵 #MyHorrorfest is a 5 month marathon broken down into 5 categories of #Possessions, #Undead, #Killers, #Disasters & #CreatureFeatures. Surprisingly last year I watched 665 movies + various series in the 5 months & I think it's funny that I was 1 shy of 666! I didn't even realize it until today when I was looking up the numbers from last year that I put on a post note & stuck to the inside cover of my movie/series watching journal.
December is dedicated to 1 of my favorite categories #CreatureFeatures & I've got a huge lineup prepared with #ClassicMonsters #CreepyCrawlers #NaturesRevenge #ReptilianCreatureFeatures #UnderWaterCreatureFeatures & all the other various Creature Features that fit this category except for aliens, those are done in May now. Now I normally do #Vampires in Sept when I'm doing my #Undead marathon but there's always a few that I don't find that get aired in Oct so I record on the PVR so I start my #CreatureFeatures marathon with them. 1st I started the morning with a documentary on Shudder called Boris Karloff: the Man behind the monsters 2021 then I watched the recordings I had saved Dracula 1931, Mark of the Vampire 1935, Horror of Dracula 1958 & Dracula AD 1972. #MyHorrorfest #HorrorMovies #ClassicMonsters #Horror

I tried to learn to water ski once at camp when I was 12. The 1st attempt at pulling me up yank the cord right out of my hand & 2 2nd attempt of pulling me up pulled me right out of the ski, my foot hit the bottom of the lake & I cut the bottom my foot on someone's discarded glass so ending my attempt at learning how to water ski & I never had another opportunity to try again. They wouldn't let me back in the lake which also is the 1 reason why I never got past the beginner's class in swimming.
The other reason why I never got my swimmer's beginner's badge was the 2nd time I went to camp I ended up injuring my knee playing baseball & got sent home so I never completed the course though I swim like a dolphin. I don't need no stinking badges! 😝😝😝

It took me 3 hours to watch Castle freaks cuz when I started I was waiting for a call back from Telus which took about an hour. I really enjoyed the 1st 2 movies & I didn't mind the 3rd 1 but the Reborn was not what I was hoping for. Well Dec 25 #CreatureFeatures lineup was He never died 2015 on Netflix, She never died 2019 that I had saved on the PVR & I found Monstrous 2020 on demand before my mood darkened & I had to switch over to my comfort Drag race shows for last few days, well 5. Well the last of the #CreatureFeatures movies, I have the Mist 2007 & I found Creatures of the Mist 2022 on Tubi. I was hoping to enjoy them on a foggy day but we stopped getting foggy & I did try to hold out for a foggy day but we didn't get any more fog & now the end of the month. So that brings the end to another 5 month long #MyHorrorfest marathon.
