@speitsch @DemocracyMattersALot Dallas/FW is where I would go if I wanted to stay in TX and deal with the least BS from this election. Lots of people want to feel safer but don’t want to leave their state & Texans are waaaaay up there on the state loyalty scale. (I lived there & my sis lived in Dallas when I lived in Houston and Austin.

@DemocracyMattersALot my wife and i left. i have talked to others who have left and there is legit ptsd. you just dont realize how bad things are there when your in the middle of it. our adult - albeit barely adult - kids are there and we miss them dearly. are we selfish? maybe. will we go back? not likely.
