My speech therapist was here this morning.
When I hear myself speak out loud, I realize I've suffered more damage than I thought.
I only think in terms of images and written word, so the extent of - let me say it - my DISABILITY - didn't seem like that big of a deal... until I had to communicate OUT LOUD!
VERBALLY!!!
I've always been proud of my vocabulary, but it takes some extra steps to find the words that had been at my fingertips.
I don't know if that's going to come back.
But it made it crucial for me to get back to my art; it always has been my best form of communication.

When I was drawing this, I wanted time to be undefined. But I realized I was fighting against myself; why not just go ahead and make it night?
