Certainly interesting topic.

Myself, I am also no fan of being a slave to a politician, or billionaire (or from a woman's point of view, nor husband).

Taken to the extreme, I am no fan of spending my entire life in some monastery neither though, just to be like: "Look at me, being all free, by having no life of my own." :)

So, politically, for me it is about a sort of social-libertarianism - like, a common foundation, we can all live on as individuals.

I am also no fan of anarcho-capitalism, what G. Carlin seems to be talking about there. And state-ownership of all, also extreme. The "plantation masters" of old, may be the political bureau of tomorrow, and then even with guns, to decide who gets which flat, etc. (Like, no difference about "who gets to host the Animal Farm" - which is the point where some anarchism starts to talk about stuff, btw).

Anyhow, the U.S: bi-partisan system sure seems to fail to address many an issue.
