Kuudere-Hime

I'm thinking of making an effort to rewatch a bunch of the shows I liked from Fall 2023 last year.

That is now the singe season of Anime I've completed the most Anime from. So like my past fiction on all of 2017 I may be uniquely qualified to revisit this season and see how well it's show hold up once Recencey Bias has dissipated.

Frieren is the one's durability is considered indisputable right now. And I'm not inclined to say it won't age well. But it's amusing how when I think about rewatching it part of me wants to skip right o the Exam Arc, which is technically not Fall 2023 anymore.

I've started my Rewatch of the Exam Arc and it is indeed still good.

@KuudereKun It would however ben so much better if they have had put the Exam Arc to season 2 since this is the beginning of Denkens journey and season 2 most likely will deal with this very early on, making Frierens speech about "good byes" a bit strange.

Yes, it's also in the Manga, but over there is was only a casual talk, while in the anime is was raised to the seasons-end-speech.

@fabiscafe I've finished my Rewatch of the Exam Arc and it's good, Frieren is indeed a show worthy of it's Hype, I'm different from other people only in how many other shows I place on the same level.

As far as the Goodbye scene goes I just see it as effecting things all that much. After all Denken specifically wasn't even in that scene.

I was just talking about this:
Lets imagine the series ended (or is at least in season 3) someone wants to catch up and hits the Exam Arc with all the people, then the goodbye scene followed by the next Arc with again a bunch of known people from the Exam Arc. It will feel off at that point.
