@bearslayer i think it's important to know, this place is actually decentralised, and a fuck of a lot more than bluesky

this means that finding like minded to talk with can be more challenging, it's not a bad thing, but definitely a different approach to things

@NeonPurpleStar Yes, this platform being decentralised indeed makes it more challenging to find new friends. However, it also makes it more fun and less susceptible to being overtaken by 1 🀑 or a single groups of 🀑s (I guess an infamous example immediately springs to our minds here)

@bearslayer it's actually gnu/mit licensed software so it cannot even be put up for sale

personally i use this social media as my feel good place, talking mostly about irl stuff, while being actively nafo on reddit and bluesky
