This is Jackie, a very decisive Jack Russell Terrier and Oscar's best friend. She always greets him standing next to him, never in front of him, because his body tenses up when he smells a dog right in front of him. They don't play because he literally doesn't see her coming. When she runs past him, she always slows down so he doesn't get spooked or swerves to the side when he's about to bump into her. In the picture, she is standing on a picnic table looking out for other dogs in case she needs to get in front of him. In short, she understands him and his special needs!
