@Erzbet Been eagerly awaiting this. It’s fantastic. Amazing. The visuals alone….
That said- one of the things I love most about ATEEZ’s music is its chaotic nature. Tempo and beat changes, genre changes, grand crescendos into haunting melodies, driving endings, etc.- while still very much an ATEEZ sounding song, this did not have that- and I missed it. I haven’t seen anyone else mention this- so maybe it’s just me.
Don’t get me wrong, love the song and MV. All the support for ATEEZ.
#kpop
The era of album has a lot to do with the vibes of the song. Treasure, Fever, and The World all had their own unique vibes that fit with the part of the lore the albums were focusing on. Now we've got Ice On My Teeth and Work which are both from the Golden Hour era. I think that the more we learn about the lore for this era, the more the vibe is going to make sense.
The quirky Ateez is still there, it's just a bit more subtle and mature.
@Erzbet Thanks for the explaination.
Still quite new to kpop music and the way things are done which is very different than western music. Sometimes I hesitate to comment or ask questions worrying about accidentally stepping on some toes I don’t know about. But the #kpop group here seems pretty chill, unlike some other platforms where it’s a bit more….shall I say…..rabid? Thanks again.

Always feel free to ask me questions. I've been a kpop fan for over a decade and enjoy answering questions and helping people enjoy kpop even more. :)
I dunno if you've seen any of my previous posts about Ateez (check the #LoreTiny tag on here if you want to look for them), but Ateez is really unique, even within kpop. They have a really developed lore around the group and the different album eras and the MVs that go with them are a big part of that.
