Many folks new and old on Mastodon are unaware that Admins and Mods on closed registration servers *manually approve* every request for a new account and *manually review* every report.

What does this look like for me?

Notifications and emails interrupting my day, every day. Sometimes it’s quite exhausting. I’ve felt that way lately.
