Fedora 41 is the most elegant Linux distribution I've ever used. Ptyxis is dope, too. From the initial setup of my GNOME 47 desktop, to the installation of software and updates via DNF 5 and Flatpak, the experience is like butter on toast. For the first time, I'm considering migrating away from a Debian desktop 100%.

@stutstev isn't Debian also just pure GNOME, like Fedora? I haven't used Debian 12 yet, but from what I recall of my time with Debian 11, it was basically a 100% stock GNOME.
However yes - DNF5 outclasses APT in every way imaginable. However; I'm still gonna stick to Cinnamon desktop.
@stutstev
What's wrong with Flatpak and installation/updates of software in Debian? I haven't noticed anything wrong there. It probably comes down to the question what people consider to be important in a Linux distro.
I've been using Fedora in the past (maybe 8 years ago). If I ever wanted to abandon Debian I think Fedora would be my choice. But I don't think I will have a reason to.
