Atascadero, California's MANGLED MESS makes some great, gross death metal - perfect for today's bonus #ThursDeath. It's rough, primitive sounding - that just adds to its disgusting appeal.

Mangled Mess' self titled EP came out earlier this year. I'd consider it a must-hear for fans of grosser stuff. Angry growling, slow, chuggy riffs - the whole EP is only 14 minutes long, over 8 tracks. Some horror type sound effects here and there, but not too much. I dig it.
