So I have a #wahoo #kickr v5 for indoor #cycling with a faulty speed sensor. Basically the IR light is too dim to read anything. A led that probably costs almost nothing renders this whole thing broken. Replacing via whaoo cost more than €400 euro.

Some people know enough of electronics to replace the sensor themselves (not trivial apparently https://www.reddit.com/r/wahoofitness/comments/17oqb3g/kickr_core_teardown_and_speed_sensor_repair/)

Anyone with good options for what I should do with this?

@tcoopman Take that thing and link to a repair café maybe? I'm pretty handy with a soldering iron myself, but don't know if I have the tools to help with disassembly.
