Sabine Emden has moved.The #FrontendMentor challenge I’m working on uses a variable font with a Softness axis and a Wonky axis. Sadly, I won’t be using them in my project, and I like the sharp font with no WONK better anyway. I do appreciate the Optical Size axis. It‘s applied automatically if available.
The design uses the font family in only one font size and one font weight. So I‘ll probably choose the static font file because it’s much smaller: 73KB compared to 358KB for TTF. BORING!
