Me on my family’s first computer, around 1993-1994. Macintosh LC 475 with AppleCD 300e, SupraFAXModem 14400, Gravis MouseStick II. Not pictured, we also had a StyleWriter II.

I was playing a flight simulator. I can’t tell from the photo, but it was either Hellcats over the Pacific or F/A-18 Hornet by Graphic Simulations.

@dmnelson I have a similar photo. Here’s me sending email in the 90s.

@dmnelson ❤️

When I was younger, the LC 475 was the one I wanted... Just couldn't find a way to justify spending that money :(

@lolopb It was mind-blowing at the time. At school I had used a Commodore and classic all-in-one Macs. But I’d never seen a Mac with a color screen, or a CD-ROM with “multimedia” content, or inkjet printers. The whole package was just so much fancier than anything I’d ever used before.
@dmnelson Oh yes, I was really into it, but... Student, not in computing, priorities of life…
@dmnelson F/A-18 was so good. Many an hour spent on it - including multiplayer in the graphic design labs at school in the late 90s.
@john Sweet, I bet that was fun! I never had the opportunity to do multiplayer.
@dmnelson Yeh it was great. PowerMac 6100 & 7500s, then later 1st gen iMacs.
