We need more ideas like this to give us some constructive ways to deal with what has happened (and is being made worse by his nominees)

And we need a useful hashtag to flag up constructive thought. Any ideas?

@electropict yeah, in theory. But I’m not sure I have the energy or enthusiasm or care enough about them to divert attention away from what we now need to do to protect ourselves and ensure we suffer as little fallout as possible

I have very few clues regarding what can actually be done in the UK context given the current or likely future administration.

I mean some things are obvious in the Europe context. Some in the global. But getting people to listen & act isn’t easy. Maybe the main hope is things start moving forward in Europe & gov.uk will have no choice but to get dragged along.

Though I suspect a more global realignment is necessary too. Europe for Europe isn’t a good selling point.

@electropict I doubt you’re alone in feeling clueless (powerless?) which is why I would like to see the convo turn in a more constructive way. I’m sick of the constant litany of bad and worse news which will just make folk turn away
