@brianvastag You probably need to go into the Settings app and find the Messages settings. Make sure “Send as SMS” is enabled as well as “MMS Messaging” and “Group Messaging”.
I don’t recall if these are on by default. If not, I don’t know why not.
@brianvastag Yeah, it’s frustrating. Everything has gotten too complex and not even the engineers fully understand all the interactions.
With weird problems like this, both of you should reboot your phones.
