We travelled extensively too and I remember when American backpackers put/sewed Canadian flags on their backpacks.🇨🇦

@Ratoncita @VeroniqueB99 I did exactly the opposite. I backpacked and eurailed all over Europe in 1987.

Had a great time. Maybe it helped that my brother (also American) spoke fluent French
