I've been thinking about my parents the past few days. They grew up during a depression, championed FDR's New Deal, and lived through WWII. (father fought in Battle of the Bulge) They experienced MLK, JFK, and RFK get gunned down. Through it all, they never gave up hope. Lifelong liberals. They are both buried under one white headstone at Fort Snelling in Minnesota. On Tuesday, their youngest son and grandchildren voted for Donald Trump. I can't make sense of it. #ElectionThoughts
