This weeks #Lego #FossilFriday is #Desmodus #draculae

Fossils of draculae have been found in Argentina, Mexico, Ecuador, Brazil, Venezuela, Belize, and Bolivia.

They date from the late Pleistocene until possibly 300 years ago. Some of the fossils are partially or fully unmineralized. This means that they are still bones, and not yet turned permineralized into fossils.

This bat is the largest known vampire bat at up to 32mm in length. Its wingspan is estimated to be around 50cm wide.

@TheDinosaurDave very spooky (and Halloween appropriate too) 🦇👻
@exkclamation ngl, it was 100% a coincidence hahaha
