One of the weird things about #FTIR spectroscopy is that because it is so well developed and optimized a lot of the complications are kinda hidden away inside the very polished and optimized instruments.... until they suddenly jump out and bite you in the ass.

So today I rediscovered something about #FTIR and resolution that I 100% read in a text book a decade ago and then forgot.
