@flexghost nope! Turning the porch lights off and heading to the neighbors’ to drink in their driveway with a fire pit and watch them hand out candy. It’s easier. 😆

@flexghost We live on a dark street and our house is set far back from the road, so in all the time we've lived here we've had two trick or treaters. The first one we were totally unprepared for so we have the kid money.

Tonight we'll either be getting together with friends and drinking, or staying home and watching scary movies and drinking.

@flexghost I’ve a collection I flutter about like a hummingbird. Note, I don’t have a ‘Pappy budget’: fave is an Eagle Rare that I’m trying to sip sparingly, Old Weller when the day’s end demands cask-strength, and either Angel’s Envy, Henry DuYore, High West for ryes.

I’ve had 4R in France, but never run across it at home. I only recall that bottle was empty in the morning, have to assume it was tasty.

I'm drowning myself in quantum mechanics studies. (A friend is nerd-binging on cad programs, and his wife is devouring books whole)

Also waiting on my OSS project to clear release review, wish I had that outlet.

Trying to muster the energy to drive pitons into the wall and escape social isolation that started with covid and continued because I'm a raging workaholic in good times and I've been stressed AF for years
