@crabbitslater Generally, antidepressants are a bad idea for bipolar folks, because they can induce something called a "manic flip", which basically means the stuff kicks you into a manic episode. Have your psychiatrist explain to you in detail why doing this isn't a bad idea, assuming they know what they're talking about. (I know from experience that not all of them do.)
