Ok, just did some Queen on it on Easy. As an overweight person who also hermits away at home, this is exhausting in a good way. I wanna try and build up to 30 mins a day then 45 etc.

Fun!

@talktech There's a queen pack now?!

Dammnit

@Ryanteck Indeed there is! Was the first bundle in my pack!

@talktech Beatsaber, when I had a headset it was one of my favourites.

I also enjoyed job simulator, and the Vader games were good too.

@Ryanteck Is there a benefit from getting it from the Quest store or Steam?

@talktech Depends on your headset.

If you've got a Quest 2/3 then you've got the question of do you get it for the Quest so you don't need to play it connected to a computer.

If you get it on steam, then you need to play it via your computer and quest link. But then if you upgrade to a different VR Headset then you can continue to play. And computer can look better.

@talktech I started out with a non quest then got a quest later on. For some games the steam version was the way to go. For a few others whilst a bit of a visual downgrade meant that you can just pick up and play.
@Ryanteck I have the Quest 3 and I have a pc and a very very long link cable. So it's more a matter of "is it better through the PC or will I not notice a difference to the stand-alone version"

@talktech Beat saber has some difference but in the end I preferred the quest version just because it's a game where you're moving around more and the freedom is nice.

Just more if you think in the future you might upgrade to a non quest headset then you can carry over vs re-buying.

The other benefit of PC for beat saber though is that it's easier to put custom maps on it.

@Ryanteck Thank you :) Very helpful! Good to get the opinion of a fellow brit ;)

@talktech No prob.

The visual difference might be less with the 3. I did have a 2 but sold that as the IPD wasn't great for me.

The 3 is more powerful in comparison.

@Ryanteck Indeed! I am leaning to the Steam version - just cause it does then give flexibility should I win the lottery and get a pro-grade VR next week LOL. But in all seriousness - it does open it up for later and my link cable reaches to my play space and does keep the battery ticking along for longer play sessions.

Thank you again!

@talktech No prob.

I never tried it either but I think there is wireless air link too which could be worth a try. Altough for beat saber wired might be best.
