Santiago Zuluaga, PhD@mbonsma Very telling too that when the Ford government passed legislation to "Build Transit Faster" in 2020 (which ironically affected the Eglinton LRT that is STILL not operational), there was no need to exempt transit projects from Environmental Assessments to "cut red tape".
They know these highways wouldn't hold water under any serious environmental assessment and are trying to push them through anyway. EAs are not just a roadblock, they support more sustainable decision-making!
