Hi All,

I recently got a few Meshtastic devices, but was sad to see there is no Linux based GUI for it (though there exists an excellant Python CLI library/App). So I rolled up my sleeves and make a basic GUI in GTK4/Libadwaita (I heavily use the Python library)! I think it turned out pretty well.

If you test it out and find bugs, please let me know!

EDIT: Whoops, it lives here: https://gitlab.com/kop316/gtk-meshtastic-client

On a side note, if anyone is talented at logos, one would be appreciated for this project!
@kop316 I will definitiv test this once my first order of #rak4631 arives.

@usia

Nice! I have been testing the RAK4631 and I like it.

@kop316 you just gave me a reason to reflash my L5 :)

Thanks a lot for this! @kop316

Big thanks to @maryjane for testing out gtk-meshtastic-client and @linmob for help with sorting out flatpak! I am hoping to test out a bit more and release a non-alpha/beta version within a couple of weeks.

In th meantime, you should be able to build it for Flatpak and Debian if you want to try it out.

@kop316 I don’t have any meshtastic hardware (yet!) but I would love to see a review of this. Maybe @geerlingguy would be willing to oblige?!
