last week I took my time off from the 30 min mini gouache paintings to do some drawn and sculpted chicken studies, paying more attention to their structure, so that I can paint them better later. Here are some of these sketches

@playinprogress If I remember correctly, it was Orpingtons where the criteria for beauty contests included: "body shape has to be square when seen from either the front or side" 🤣
