@CriticalCupcake theres a few ways i could see it;
- immortality in the sense you get to decide how long you exist for, and nothing will happen to you as long as you dont approve of it (good)
- everyone has immortality (yay i don't have to loose people :3), this seems good too
- just me, i mean it'd be nice probably, but im also littearlly cannot be sure of what i would do/want 30000 years from now, still i would want ti now and for the forseeable future so good too?
@CriticalCupcake if the conditions are that life will not much change from now, a job, money, etc. forever... i sometimes feel like that with all of the programming languages i have used. i'd get sick of it.
unless i was Wobagger the Infinitely Prolonged, then i would certainly find purpose to live forever. https://www.hhgproject.org/entries/wowbagger.html
As mortal lives often become unbearable hell, we would have to assume that, sooner or later, yes. But all things change, so eventually that too would pass. And then it seems likely it would become very very cold and empty for 10^100s of years, and perhaps then start again with much radioactive fire and heat. And then again. All of which may be painful. The trick I think is not to get caught up in desiring either mortality or immortality to begin with.
