I am debating whether to use a free WordPress theme & alter it or hire a professional to create one in the future. No, it is not for me, but for someone special. 🥰

It will be a resume site with a blog on the side. ActivityPub support is a given (everything should be on the Fediverse, in my opinion 😜).

A third alternative would be to purchase a professional theme instead. That is an option, too. I will look at some of the premium themes online and see if any catch my eye.

I am not yet sure what my budget for it will be, but I am already setting aside funds for hosting and I already have a domain name secured.

I will see what resume themes are out there first, before spending up to $1500 for a designer (I think that is what they cost nowadays, although the price may be higher due to inflation).
