I'm exploring and testing Piwigo to organize and share my photos. Open-source, easy to use, and great to organize the photos online. 📸 Also neat how I can export photos from #digikam directly to Piwigo. The same option in #darkable doesn't work for me, but I can live with that. All in all, a great piece of software! #Piwigo #PhotoGallery #opensource #photography #fujifilm #photos. https://piwigo.org/

@ecodiv Darktable direct export to Piwigo works for me, what your OS and DT version?
@Dero_10 Darktable 4.9 on Ubuntu 24.04
@ecodiv Login to Piwigo fails? If so you’ve set the preference Security password for storage to use the correct method, in DT?
@Dero_10 I can log in successfully, but when trying to upload a photo, it simply states, after a brief moment, that the upload failed.
@ecodiv check logs in Piwigo, in _data directory. Make sure pho.ini upload is high, mine is 100M

@Dero_10 thanks, I had a look, but I'm not sure what to look for.

I would suspect that increasing the upload won't make the difference, as I can upload the same photos I tried in Darktable via Digikam without problems.

But I am already happy it works well in Digikam 🙂

@ecodiv I found that by default DT jpegs were 25MB, while other programs were under 10MB for the same image. So all others worked but not DT. Also DT could create a new album. The Piwigo log would clearly state the php.ini file needed upload limits increased. If you self serve Piwigo on your own computer, one of the steps was the edit php.ini. If you subscribe to a service for Piwigo, I’ve no idea how to check it. (1/2)
